An Offer I Couldn’t Refuse

I don’t even need 10 minutes to think or write about it: video game producer. Overwatch and jack off all trades in one person. I’ve always dreamed about making a video game but never done that – maybe because I wanted to touch every single aspect of creation. And that requires a lot of time that I usually don’t have. Back on track – video game producer. AAA video game producer. That would make me drop everything, sign papers and work constantly ’till it’s done or I’m dead. One day maybe… It’s good to have something to dream about.

Events & Challenges

Almost a week gone by since my previous post. I looked again and todays Blogging 101 challenge and decided to give it a try. It’s more-less same type of assignment that stopped me from posting and following instructions for whole last week – like adding a new page. To add a new page I need a reason for that. I need something to put there. Something that I want to be persistent on my blog. I simply can’t pop with things like that on-demand – sorry.

Today it is about finding an event and taking part in it. Well… I started to looking for one suited for me. I obviously could grab my prospective spouses (love that expression I found in dictionary today) D5000 and pretend to be a professional photographer like many today. I could write a post about me assembling IKEA-made piece of furniture (that’s a sick one). But afer half an hour of looking around and rising my eyebrow higher than usual every few minutes I finally bumped onto share-a-quote event. Lovely. Grabbed one from my Facebook profile that I feel the most likely today.

“It wouldn’t be inaccurate to assume that I couldn’t exactly not say that it is or isn’t almost partially incorrect. (…) On the contrary. I’m possibly more or less not definitely rejecting the idea that in no way with any amount of uncertainty that I undeniably do or do not know where he shouldn’t probably be, if that indeed wasn’t where he isn’t. Even if he wasn’t at where I knew he was, that’d mean I’d really have to know where he wasn’t.” Pinocchio

Quick Aside #1

It’s hardest part – to sit down and start writing. After that it’s going smooth and easy. I think I need to come up with some phrase that I will just write at the beginning of each post. It seems to be a good idea, isn’t it?

Haven’t been writing since last friday and not feeling bad about it at all. Pre-release last saturday went not as good as I expected – 2 wins out of 5 games is less than my average. And today we draft Khans of Tarkir alone for the last time. Got to win something, finally!

And I got cold. A nasty one. Haven’t even bothered to buy a prescription – as always: something you already have at home but twice more expensive. Found a Hot Whiskey recipe instead and it worked. As hell. The very next day I felt much better. Just use honey instead of sugar…

Hatchery

Another day, another assignment – change your title and tagline. I was thinking on both since I woke up and it wasn’t easy to come up with something. In the end I decided to leave my nickname in the title. It’s just something that defines me better than anything else. On the other hand, domain in the title looked numbly, so I replaced it with hatchery. Yes that’s exactly what this blog will be – a hatchery for all my projects and thoughts. Simply put (and here comes the tagline) – all the things that makes me tick. Or sick. But let’s stay positive for now.

Ps.
To all that would feel confused by an image in header: I know it’s hive not hatchery but it’s still an amazing piece of Starcraft II artwork.

Introduction

It’s always like you need to start with something. And that something must not be very complicated nor specialised. Imagine startup of  personal blog with very, very complicated math post. Would anyone except queen of science lovers take time to come by another time and see if there is something interesting for them? Nope, no one would. Except of masochists maybe. And maybe they should? Maybe this first post was just a tiny bit of your interests. Or just an introduction to something that you’re really into. Choosing right thing for a start is always hard. Thankfully , I don’t need to choose. I joined blogging101 course and got an assignment. Continue reading “Introduction”
